Philadelphia Police Department 6th District Bike Registry

To help reduce both bike theft and increase the number of bike owners who are reunited with their bicycles, the Central Police Division’s Sixth District has embarked on a pilot program for those who live, work or regularly travel to Center City to register their bikes on this special website.

On this website you can:

Whether you use your bicycle for transportation or for recreation, it’s very important to keep a record of your bike ownership information (serial number, make, model & photo) and to register your bike with the Philadelphia Police Department.

Please protect your bike by filling out the online bicycle registration form. Once your form is completed and you’ve uploaded a photo of the bike, the Sixth Police District will send you a registration sticker to put on your bike. If your bike was lost or stolen fill out the  lost or stolen bike form. If you like you can post your lost or stolen bike on this website for everyone to view. If your bike was subsequently recovered, the Philadelphia Police Department would use the registration number to contact you with the good news and reunite you with your bicycle.

It's free and it's easy.
